Procedure Writing!!

Martin the Alien has arrived on Earth and he wants to know how to make a Healthy Hamburger. Here is a procedure, using the correct structure and language, to instruct Martin on how to make my favourite healthy hamburger.

Title: The swaggest hamburger on earth

Ingredients/Materials:

1x Bun

2x cheese

4x lettuce leaves

2x sliced tomato

3x patties

4x bacon

tomato sauce

Method:

1.Get all the ingredients ready

2.Take the bun, put it on a plate and cut it in half.

3.Get the cheese and tomatoes and them on the bun.

4.Cook the patties and put them on the bun.

5.Put the cooked bacon on top and squirt tomato sauce.

6.Get lettuce and put it on, then put on the top bun.

My Science Fair Project

Sadly the dog went missing.

Surprisingly she got a rat for her birthday.

Obviously he was in the cell for punching someone in the face.

“Yes we’re going to skating I can not wait, I finally get to see my cousin's again” I shouted in excitement.  “Dad, where are we going to meet them?” I begged. “We're going to see them at the skating centre,” dad laughed.  “Aaaaaaaaaaaa” I screamed “this is going to be the best day ever.” As we arrived at the skating centre I quickly opened the door but there was one problem, we were too early and the car park was completely empty so Isaac and I climbed up onto the rail and waited and waited.  The skating owners arrived. Yay we could finally go in. Just before I entered I heard someone calling my name so I turned around then I saw Myanna.  Myanna is my step cousin. She is 9 and lives in Hamilton and she is really fun. “Yay” they’ve finally arrived I yelled.  As we approached the centre we saw a whole bunch of skating gear. “Wow” Mya whispered in surprise. Myanna and I are really good skaters so once we put on our skates we zoomed off.  “O-m-g,” Myanna shouted “this place is awesome”.  The place was filled with colorful rainbow lights. I liked that they made pictures on the wall, even one of a cute bunny. We skated around for two hours then I saw my friend Aren.  After we skated around we all took a break and ate some candy. I took a red skin and I loved it. It tasted part raspberry and part strawberry. I also had a crunchie bar and Myanna chose a caramel chocolate bar and smarties. We traded our lollies.  One long piece of redskin for 5 smarties. They were really yum when you put them together with a teeny bit of crunchie.  After our break we raced Nana who was trying out some skates not blades.  She was pretty good but I still beat her.  Nana chased us and caught Myanna.  Soon it was time to leave so Myanna came home with us and Isaac went to Poppas to play with Jake. It was a big day and we were all worn out.

My first Narrative

The volcano that spits out gold

Once upon a time there were three girls.  The youngest one Lilly was the cutest.  The oldest one Tylah was the tallest and prettiest and I was the second oldest one. I wore tights and a blue and green strippy top.  Tylah always wore her cat ears, normal jeans, a black top and a pink wooly jumper.  Lilly wore a really pretty white dress with pink flowers and a beautiful pink head-band.  

One day Lilly, Tylah and I came across a beautiful pretty island full of flowers.  The island was beautiful but there was lots of danger on the island.  “What is that???” whispered Lily in a low voice. “It looks like a mountain,” explained Tylah. But it wasn't a mountain it was a volcano.  “Lets go and have a look,” I say.  “Gold!” shouts Tylah. GOLD??? “I don’t think this island is safe,” explained Tylah, “lets go.”  But when we went to move we couldn’t.  We were stuck in the middle of a sea of GOLD. “OMG,” And they lived happily ever after... THE END

Chromebook

BEEP BEEP BEEP rung the alarm-clock.   Yay! I yelled, “I’m finally going to get my chromebook.” When I arrived at school we all went for a swim.  Then it was time to get our chromebook.  We waited for the speeches. “It’s now time for the countdown,” Mrs H exclaimed. 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!.  The timer went off. We ripped open our ribbon and opened the box. There was my perfect chromebook.  “This is going to be the best day ever,” I shouted.
