♥ Kia ora these past few weeks we have been working a lot on our writing and have been allowed to write our own made up recount about what ever we would like. I hope you enjoy my recount.♥
Lily sat in her favorite spot in the garden trying desperately to read her story in peace. Her annoying but lovable little twin sisters Faith and Ella were running around yelling out loud. “What the heck is going on?” Lily moaned. She looked at her precious dog Chewy Barker (Chewy for short.) “Chewy is chasing after that cute black cat again,” Ella shouted. Lily jumped onto her feet and joined Chewy. That little cat was gorgeous and there was something mesmerizing about her crystal blue eyes. They sneakily chased the cat though that forest behind the house. The trees were getting thicker as they forced their way through the spiky branches. Suddenly they stopped and saw a strange but beautiful landscape.
There was no time to lose. They journeyed on their adventure to find Faith. They looked high up trees, they looked low near the rocks but they still could not find her. Suddenly they heard a scream. “Aaaa!” It was Faith. They rushed as fast as they could. “Faith!” Lily yelled. She heard a noise and then she saw a tall, ugly lady with a green dress and snake hair. “Oh no, it can not be” Ella mumbled. “Alright, who are you and give me back Faith NOW!” Lily was furious and her voice was yelling as loud as it could go. The ugly snake haired lady was called Medusa, one of the mythical creatures known as a Gorgon. “I knew it! We must be in some type of mythical island,” cried Ella. “Who cares?” said Lily still raging with fury, her face was as red as a tomato riding a fire engine. Lily charged at Medusa, not knowing fully if Medusa was trying to steal Faith but knowing that Medusa could not be trusted. Oomph! - they stumbled onto the hard rocky ground. Medusa’s snake hair slithered towards them and held them by the neck unbelievably tight. “Where are you taking us?” Lily screeched trying hard to speak with the slimy feeling of the serpents squeezing her neck. Medusa did not speak, she just walked on poshly making her hideous green hair tighter and tighter every time they spoke. All of a sudden a huge shadow cast over them. They all looked up to see a one eyed giant beast towering above them. As they stared at the beast in terror Ella quietly loosened herself out of Medusa's hair. Sneakily she untangled her sisters and tiptoed away carefully. Suddenly - Crunch! Ella tripped over an old rotten tree root. Medusa looked back and saw that the three girls had escaped and were running as fast as they could. The cyclops beast followed them and it didn’t take him long to catch up. The girls were petrified and froze like statues. They thought the beast might eat them, crunch them up in his ginormous slobbery jaws, but instead he slowly opened his hand and down jumped the cute black kitten with the crystal blue eyes. “Follow her!” roared Cyclops. The girls realized he was trying to help them. They thanked the heroic Cyclops and they chased after the kitten. She took them to a bush and they pushed through the branches which crackled underneath their feet. Finally they saw a bright light shining in the center of their eye. Lily reached towards the light then everything went black. “Wake up Lily, wake up." Lily opened her eyes, she was in her favorite spot in the garden reading her favorite book, The legend of Narnia. She looked up to see her sisters and her dog chasing a cute black cat . Lily thought, "Here we go again." ♥♥♥
Wow Willow, I love this! It is so nice to see you finish a story and you have used some great describing words. I see some of your classmates have posted their writing about Maui, I'd really like to see some of your work on this topic.
